Privacy Policy

What ColoringPageGenerator collects when you download coloring pages or use the AI coloring page generator, and how that information is used and protected.

Effective date: October 11, 2026

This policy explains what information ColoringPageGenerator ("we", "us") handles when you use coloringpagegenerator.net, including the free coloring page library, the coloring books, the AI coloring page generator, the photo to coloring page tool, the AI colorizer and the name coloring page maker. ColoringPageGenerator is operated by an independent developer based in the People's Republic of China, who is responsible for the information described here.

The short version

  • You can browse the library and download single coloring pages without creating an account.
  • We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked before Google Analytics cookies are used, and anyone can decline at any time with the "Analytics choices" button. We do not use advertising cookies, and Google signals and ad personalization are turned off.
  • We use Microsoft Clarity to record how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and what the page showed) so we can find and fix problems. Clarity runs whether or not you allow analytics; what you type into input boxes is masked. Details are below.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • Your AI creations and the photos and drawings you upload are private to your account and are never added to the public library automatically.

Information we collect

When you visit or download as a guest

  • Human verification. Guest downloads use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that a person, not a script, is downloading. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and device to do this.
  • Daily download count. To apply the guest daily limit, we store a count for each day against a one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store the raw IP address for this purpose.
  • Request logs. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested in order to deliver and protect the site.
  • Visit statistics. Google Analytics records the pages you view, your browser and device type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and a few actions such as downloading a coloring page or coloring book, starting or finishing a generation, signing up or signing in, opening checkout, coming back from checkout without paying, and the reason you pick for not paying. These actions carry only a paper size, tool, quality, style, sign-in method, limit type, plan, where checkout was opened from (for example the pricing page or a generator that ran out of credits) or the reason. We never send your prompts, photos, files, email address, name or account ID to Google Analytics.

Microsoft Clarity session recordings

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people actually use the site, for example where the generator is confusing or where a page stops working, so we can improve it.

  • What it records. Clarity's script records your clicks, taps, mouse movements and scrolling, and the content and layout of the page as it appeared to you, so we can replay a visit and view heatmaps. It also collects technical details such as browser, device, screen size and approximate location.
  • What is masked. Whatever you type into input boxes and choose in drop-down menus is masked in your browser and never sent to Clarity. Numbers and email addresses shown on the page are masked too. Other page text is recorded.
  • Where it does not run. Clarity is turned off in our admin area and on pages whose address carries a one-time password-reset, email-verification or sign-in code, and it does not record anyone signed in as a site administrator. To know that, our server sets a cookie named cpt_staff (value 1, no identity) in an administrator's browser and removes it when that browser is no longer signed in as an administrator.
  • Checkout events. When you open checkout, come back from it without paying, or pick a reason on the "payment not completed" page, we add a short label to the recording (the plan, where checkout was opened from, or the reason) so we can find those visits.
  • Consent. Clarity runs on every other page whether or not you allow analytics; the "Analytics choices" button does not turn the recording off. Microsoft states that Clarity follows the analytics choice our site passes to it through Google Consent Mode: until you allow analytics in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, or after you decline anywhere, Clarity does not set its cookies, and each page you view is recorded as a separate visit.
  • Who processes it. Microsoft Corporation provides Clarity and stores the data in its Azure cloud. Microsoft's handling of this data is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. According to Microsoft, recordings are available to us for 30 days, except that Microsoft keeps recordings we mark as favorites and a random sample of recordings for up to 9 months.

When you create an account

  • Your email address, the name you enter, and your password in hashed form.
  • If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google to create or link your account. We do not receive your Google password or access to your other Google data.
  • Your account activity: credit balance and credit transactions, daily download counts, and any pages you save.
  • If you arrive through a marketing link that carries a tracking tag, we store that tag with your new account so we can see which channels bring sign-ups.

When you try the generator without an account

  • We set a cookie with a random ID for your browser and store a one-way hash of your IP address with each free try. We use them only to apply the free-try limits and the trial-credit rule; the raw IP address is not stored for this.
  • Your prompt and the page you make are handled like any other generation below. They stay private to your browser and move into your account when you sign in there.

When you use the AI coloring page generator

  • The text you enter, the style, page shape and quality you choose, and the status of each task.
  • The files we create for you (PNG, A4 PDF and US Letter PDF), stored in private storage that only your signed-in account can download from.
  • Before an image is generated, the text you enter is sent to Waffo Pancake's Prompt Sift safety check and to SeeAPI's content moderation service, which check it against content policies. It is sent without your name or email address.

When you turn a photo into a coloring page

  • Your browser crops and resizes the photo you choose and saves it again without its camera, location and other embedded details before it is uploaded. We check the upload again and remove any such details that remain.
  • The uploaded photo, the style and page shape you choose, and the files we create from it are kept in private storage that only your signed-in account can open. Your photo is never added to the public library.
  • Before a page is drawn, SeeAPI's content moderation service checks the photo. It reads the photo through a private link that works only while your page is being made and expires within 10 minutes.
  • To create the page, your photo is then sent to our AI image provider.
  • Every generated image, from a prompt, a photo or a page you color, is checked by SeeAPI's content moderation service before you can see or download it.
  • When a generated image fails our quality check, we keep it in the same private storage, with the cost and the provider's job number, so we can find out what went wrong. It is never shown to anyone else and is deleted along with your other creations. Images refused by moderation are not kept.
  • We keep a record of each moderation check: whether the prompt, photo, drawing or image passed, the categories the service returned, and the time. For a prompt that is blocked, the record keeps the prompt text so we can review it.
  • Only upload photos you have the right to use. If a photo shows other people, make sure you have their permission, or a parent's or guardian's permission for a child.

When you make a name coloring page

  • Name coloring pages are drawn in your browser. The names you type are not sent to us or saved on our servers; your browser keeps your current names and settings for this tab only, so they survive a sign-in.
  • The fonts are loaded from our own site, not from a third-party font service.

When you color a page with AI

  • The page you choose to color (a page from the public library, one of your own creations, or a drawing you upload) is copied into private storage together with the color style you choose and the colored PNG we create. Only your signed-in account can open them, and neither is added to the public library.
  • A drawing you upload is resized in your browser and saved again without its embedded details, like a photo, and SeeAPI's content moderation service checks it before it is colored.
  • To color the page, it is sent to our AI image provider. The colored image is checked by SeeAPI before you can see or download it.

Payments

Payments are handled by Waffo.com Limited through its Waffo Pancake platform, our Merchant of Record. You enter your payment details on Waffo Pancake's checkout, and we never receive or store your card number. Waffo Pancake shares with us what we need to add your plan or credits and to handle cancellations and refunds: your email address, the product, amount and currency, order, payment and subscription IDs, billing period dates and payment status.

When you start checkout, we save on your order where you started it: the page address without any query (for example /pricing or /text-to-coloring-page) and the kind of button or link (for example the pricing page, the header menu, or a generator that ran out of credits). Checkout does not send you back to us if you leave without paying, so your browser keeps a note for that tab (in session storage, deleted when the tab closes or after a day) with the order number and the page that opened checkout. If you press Back from checkout to that page, we take you once to a "payment not completed" page. There you can pick one reason from a fixed list (price, payment method, currency or tax, still deciding, something went wrong, something else); we save only that choice and the time on your unpaid order, and you can change it. We use this to fix what stops people from paying, not to contact you.

How we use information

  • To deliver downloads, run the generator and keep your account working.
  • To apply daily download limits and credit rules, and to prevent abuse and automated scraping.
  • To block prompts that break our Acceptable Use Policy, such as requests for copyrighted characters.
  • To answer support requests and keep the service secure.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the service is used, and to replay individual visits recorded by Microsoft Clarity, so we can find problems and improve the service.

Service providers we rely on

  • Cloudflare – hosting, content delivery, file storage, background task processing and Turnstile human verification.
  • Google – Google Analytics for visit statistics, and Google sign-in when you choose it.
  • Microsoft – Microsoft Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps.
  • Neon – database hosting.
  • SeeAPI – content moderation checks on generator prompts, uploaded photos and generated images.
  • Waffo Pancake (Waffo.com Limited) – checkout, payments, sales tax and receipts as our Merchant of Record, and the Prompt Sift safety check on generator prompts.
  • AI image providers – your prompt or photo and your generation settings are sent to our image generation provider (currently APIMart; Google's Gemini API is our backup provider) to create your coloring page.

These providers process information on our behalf to run the service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and cookies set by Cloudflare for security and human verification.

Google Analytics sets analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to tell visits apart. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland these cookies are only set after you choose "Allow analytics"; elsewhere they are set unless you choose "Decline". Your choice is saved for one year in a cookie named cpt_analytics_consent, and declining also removes existing Google Analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.

Microsoft Clarity sets two cookies on our site when your analytics choice allows it: _clck, which keeps a random Clarity user ID for one year, and _clsk, which joins the pages of one visit into a single recording and lasts one day. Microsoft lists further cookies it may set on its own domains (such as MUID, CLID, ANONCHK, MR and SM) in its Clarity cookie list.

How long we keep information

  • Daily download counts are kept for as long as we need them to apply limits and investigate abuse.
  • Account information, credit history, your AI creations and the photos you upload are kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account, creations and photos at any time.
  • Moderation records are kept while your account is active, so we can answer questions from our payment provider and handle reports; they are deleted with your account.
  • Orders, including where checkout was started and any reason you picked for not paying, are kept while your account is active and as long as we need them for accounting, tax and dispute records.
  • Request logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period.
  • Microsoft Clarity recordings are available to us for 30 days; Microsoft keeps favorite and randomly sampled recordings for up to 9 months.

Your choices and rights

You can change your analytics choice at any time with the "Analytics choices" button at the bottom of every page. It controls Google Analytics and whether Microsoft Clarity sets cookies; it does not stop Clarity from recording page use.

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing us from the address on your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

Our coloring pages are made for children's activities, but the site is designed to be used by parents, teachers and other adults. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International processing

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Security

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, private storage for account files and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. For significant changes, such as adding advertising or cookie-based analytics, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
